About
Xochitl Xiuh Ollin, most commonly known as Margarita Camarena, is a representative of the traditional healing arts of the Mayan, Zapotec, and Toltec peoples. She was chosen by the Fire to walk the White Road of Mayan medicine, becoming an Ajq’ij — a Mayan timekeeper, spiritual guide, and fire ceremony healer. By birthright and through her grandmothers, Margarita was born onto the Red Road in Mexico, descending from a lineage of midwives, traditional healers and artists who passed down ancestral wisdom and knowledge.
Her healing practice weaves together ancestral modalities such as Plática (sacred dialogue), Ventosas (Mesoamerican fire cupping), Limpias (spiritual cleansing), obsidian healings and other Indigenous tools and ceremonies that restore harmony and balance to those who seek healing. Alongside her ancestral practices, Margarita integrates modern therapeutic modalities, including craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and structural integration.
One of Margarita’s deepest passions is supporting women through all stages of pregnancy — from fertility and conception to postpartum care. She practices Mesoamerican womb massage and postpartum bodywork, honoring the sacred transitions of motherhood. As a certified pediatric craniosacral therapist, she also offers gentle, nurturing care to babies, infants, children, and their families.
As a Reiki Master-Teacher, Margarita brings an energetic and holistic approach to each session. She facilitates Reiki classes and healing circles, and as an educator, she offers a variety of classes focused not only on Reiki, but also on the spirituality and practices of traditional healing methods.

Tat Don Pascual Yaxon
A Kaqchikel Ajq’ij (spiritual guide), he is a carrier of the Mayan ancestral worldview and sacred medicine. He is a teacher, healer, and certified natural health counselor who has dedicated his life to sharing holistic healing practices rooted in the wisdom of his people.
He is the director of "El Centro Indigena Utzil"dedicated to the practice of ancestral medicine and the Mayan cosmovisions. It serves as a safe and sacred space for healing, learning, and reconnecting with indigenous roots.
Zapotec Curandero and Public Health Educator
Maestro Laurencio Lopez
An international Master Curandero from Oaxaca, Mexico, an instructor for Curanderismo Summer Program at the University of New Mexico for over 20 years. He is also a master ethnobotanist who has built with, supported, and educated Zapotec communities in the mountains of Oaxaca.
His work includes teaching the theory and practical implementation of permaculture, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture, empowering communities to preserve ancestral knowledge while cultivating self-sufficiency. He is widely known as a Temazcalero, offering powerful healing experiences through the Temazcal, as well as through Oaxacan Limpias and Zapotec ceremonies and rituals.

Efrain Vicente
Efrain Vicente Sajbin is a Maya K’iche’ Ajq’ij (spiritual guide), youth leader, defender of Indigenous rights, and promoter of community mental health with ECAP at the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. He has represented his community at international gatherings on food sovereignty, human rights, and Indigenous youth, and served as a member of the FAO board of directors in 2009. He holds a certification in Medical Biomagnetism from the Higher School of Mexico, and a diploma from the Academy of Diplomacy of Guatemala’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a migrant leader. He currently coordinates the Health and Ancestral Medicine Program at the Utzil Raxnaqil Indigenous Center.
He reads the message of sacred fire, guiding clients to reach peace and harmony, and offering clarity in the face of challenging time.

Dr. Eric Rubin, DC, BA, CMT
Dr. Eric has supported people in living with greater ease and body awareness since 1994. He founded NorthPoint Chiropractic and Family Wellness Center in 2003 as a multidisciplinary practice serving his community. A valedictorian graduate of Life Chiropractic College West and summa cum laude Philosophy graduate from the University of Illinois, he is also a post-doctoral graduate and longtime lead teacher of Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI). His work blends chiropractic, craniosacral care, bodywork, and subtle energy practices to help clients and practitioners cultivate health, balance, and embodied awareness.
